For years, horror fans in Central Massachusetts have been spending hundreds of dollars and spending hundreds of dollars just to attend a quality horror convention. But that all changes October 8th as the Worcester Centrum and the Palladium will host Rock and Shock, a three day horror festival that'll mix the kings of horror film (Jeffery Combs, the cast of Dawn of the Dead) with the modern kings of shock rock.
And what would a big three day horror party be with out the kings of East Coast spooky funk The Deadites on October 9th?
The three day rock shockathon will team our heroes with a horrifying line up of horror legends, ICP, Misfits, the Bronx Casket Company, and Type O Negative. When asked for a comment even the whiskey drinking father of all that's funky was a bit star-struck. “I wanna meet Jeffery Combs man, he's one of my all time faves. I must of seen all of the Reanimator movies like a billion times.” When asked if there was anyone else he was excited about he smiled slyly, “I got plans to make Angela (May) Bettis my new style American girlfriend.” Without a doubt Rock & Shock will change the way they do horror conventions forever.
